Okay, this one might require some explanation! I have been drawing different versions of my astronaut and camel comics since around 1995 when I was a senior in high school. Someday I’ll tell the tale of how these two characters first came into being. But for now, let me just say that there are about 38 comics on the beyond_the_dromedary Instagram account in a different style.

I won’t go into why that it is… but just know that the Beyond the Dromedary Multiverse has been created!

Please follow, clap, and leave me a comment!

Clearly an homage to one of the greatest comic strips of all time. Plus, a snowy day really does feel like an alien world (especially if you live in a southern state in the U.S.)

Follow Beyond the Dromedary, please clap, and leave a comment about how your winter is going!

I’m not much of a video creator, but I had some folks ask me recently about some of my methods for putting hand-drawn artwork online. I’d like to share two videos I created, so here we go!

I used my dog Obi in the first example. He’s a chihuahua.

Video 1: Creating Black and White Art

Video 2: Color Process

So let me know what you think! Am I completely crazy for watercoloring painting on the BACK of my line drawings? Maybe.

Thanks for reading and follow me here or on the YouTube channel.

I don’t know where some of these ideas come from, but this amuses me greatly. Stay tuned… I hope to do more with Clippy.

This one took me a minute to figure out. I thought I had a good premise, but the punchline eluded me. Then (while walking outside) it just hit me. Sometimes that’s how the creative process works!

Thanks for reading my webcomic!

I should probably make this a social commnetary about big data and what corporations due with our personal information. The truth is, I really, really wanted to draw a cute little cat.

Some more of my recent work. I’ve been obsessed with drawing comics since I was a kid. The obsession continues well into adulthood. I am loving this drawing method right now. I’m using a small brush and ink. Very little digital work to do…

I thought it might be neat to create a place where I can share my comic strips and talk about why the art form has been an obsession since I was a kid. I plan to do that, but for now, let me share some of my recent work.

Please follow my comic and drop a comment. Thanks!
